BEHIND THE LENS
Hi! I’m Jade a wife to my rock star husband Dallas and a proud mum of two cool kids Evie and Banjo. Living in the beautiful regional town of Orange, NSW.
Although I now call Orange home, I was born in Lilydale, Victoria. When I was little, we moved to my Pop’s farm in Orange while our family home was being built and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better childhood.
My Pop ran a horse-riding school on his property, and every weekend I’d be down at the stables, helping mum get the horses ready for the trail rides. Those days were filled with fresh air, muddy boots, and so much fun, some of my most treasured memories come from that time on the farm.
STORYTELLER MOTHER CREATIVE
In my twenties, I started falling in love with photography. I’d carry a camera everywhere, capturing little moments with friends and family. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of freezing a moment in time looking back at a photo and instantly reliving the emotions of that day.
That passion only grew stronger after I had my daughter, Evie. We started repping kids’ clothing brands, which meant I was taking photos of her all the time. It really sparked something deeper in me. After my son Banjo was born, I decided to take the leap. I reached out to a photographer friend to ask about a good starter camera and as fate would have it, she was selling her Canon 6D Mark II. It turned out to be the perfect camera to begin my photography journey more seriously.
Now, photography is more than a hobby, it’s a way I connect with people, tell stories, and preserve memories. I would be honoured to tell your story.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m soaking up all the love with my little fam, switching up my hair colour just for fun, or heading out purely to dance my heart out (the dance floor is my happy place!).
I don’t do coffee shocking, I know, but give me a good matcha and I’m all yours.
